Viewde Meds
Medication is usually the first thing an inspector looks at and, on paper, the easiest thing to get wrong. Meds puts the chart on the device the carer is already holding and checks the administration before it will accept a signature.
What it does

Scan the blister, then sign
Carers scan the barcode on the weekly blister or the pharmacy label. If it is not the medication due for that resident at that time, the app refuses the signature and explains why. Services that scan report a 68% fall in documentation errors in the first year.
BtM register that reconciles
A dual-signature electronic controlled drugs register meeting BtMVV requirements in Germany and equivalent rules in Ireland, Austria and the Netherlands, with a running balance and automatic escalation of any discrepancy to the Einrichtungsleitung.
Bedarfsmedikation with evidence
As-required medication captures the reason, the dose and the time, then prompts the same carer for the effect after an interval set per medication. This is the single most common documentation gap found in quality reviews.
Ordering built from what was given
Repeat orders are generated from actual administrations rather than a prescription list twelve months old, sent electronically to the supplying pharmacy and received back into stock by scanning the delivery.
Interaction and allergy checking
Every new medication is checked against the current list and recorded allergies using a licensed European drug database, with the warning shown to the person administering rather than filed in a report.
Evidence in one export
Any date range, any resident, formatted for the inspection regime of the country you are in: MD quality review in Germany, HIQA in Ireland, IGJ in the Netherlands. Gaps, refusals and hospital leave all carry the reason recorded at the time.
