Accessibility statement
How accessible this website and the Viewde platform are, what we know is not yet right, and how to tell us about a problem.
Our commitment
Care staff use our software on shared devices, in poor light, at the end of long shifts, and with a wide range of vision, dexterity and language needs. Accessibility is an operational requirement rather than a compliance exercise.
This website and the platform aim to meet EN 301 549 and WCAG 2.2 level AA. An independent audit in January 2026 found the platform substantially conformant with the exceptions below.
What you can do
- Resize text to 200% without loss of content or function.
- Navigate by keyboard throughout, with a visible focus indicator.
- Use a screen reader; we test with NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver and TalkBack.
- Set a reduced-motion preference, which this site respects.
- Use a night view with reduced brightness and larger touch targets.
- Switch the interface to German, Dutch, Polish or Romanian.
Known problems
- Wound annotation in Viewde Care cannot currently be completed by keyboard alone. A list-based alternative exists; a keyboard-accessible version is scheduled for the November 2026 release.
- Two legacy report exports produce PDFs without full tagging. Equivalent CSV exports are fully accessible. Fix scheduled for February 2027.
- Charts in the group dashboard convey trend by colour and shape, with figures only in the linked table. Inline data tables are being added in the same release.
- Romanian and Polish interface strings lag German and English by roughly one release for newly added features.
Reporting a problem
Email the address below. We acknowledge within two working days and provide a plan or a fix within ten. If a problem is preventing someone doing their job, say so and we will treat it as urgent.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the enforcement body for accessibility in your member state; in Ireland this is the Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission.
